We are excited to announce the next step in helping our language learning community thrive! For the past couple of years, we have been running FREE live conversation clubs four times a week to give language learners the opportunity to practice speaking with native speakers. It has been a fantastic experience for everyone involved, and we have seen so much progress among our learners.
Today, we are taking the next step by announcing the creation of a MemWorld community on Discord. This new community will be a place where learners can chat with other learners at any time and attend live conversation clubs four times a week. The coaches hosting these clubs are native speakers who also offer smaller group sessions and one-to-one sessions, so learners can find their ideal language coach.
We have been testing these events and building the MemBot to make sure everything runs smoothly. Some of you may have seen the website version of MemWorld, which we created while testing these events. However, we have now decided to move that website’s core functionality into the MemWorld Discord server and sunset the website version.
The MemWorld community on Discord will provide a more immersive language learning experience, with features like voice channels and text channels dedicated to each language. Learners can join the community and start practicing with others right away. Our language coaches and polyglot admins will also be available to provide personalized feedback and guidance to learners who want to improve their skills even further.
And if you really love learning languages, get ready for an exciting announcement. We’re thrilled to let you know that we’ve got some exciting, never-before-seen Discord functionality in the pipeline which will create a truly unique practice environment. We can’t give away too many details just yet, but we can say that this new feature is going to be a game-changer for language learners of all levels. Stay tuned for more updates!
