I spent time in several apps but landed in memrise to learn Italian for an upcoming trip. I really like the conversational videos and gesture based learning. I can still picture the actor saying “I’m thirsty” every time I say it.
Memrise provides natural speaking habits of your target language and works on listening skills in a way that no other app I’ve found does. I have been working on learning French and Italian for quite some time, and I have still learned so many new things.
I love this app it is very comprehensible, I also speak Spanish which is very similar to Italian. Looking forward to advancing a lot faster than I had anticipated.
Learning Italian can provide you with many opportunities, both inside and outside of Italy. Over 60 million people worldwide speak Italian, making it one of the most widely-spoken languages after English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese. This makes it a very useful language to learn for both travel and business.
The rise of Italian band Måneskin has also made the language more popular with young people. And who could resist the temptation of delicious Italian food? Being able to speak Italian will allow you to order dishes like neapolitan pizza or spaghetti alla carbonara with confidence.
