For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith
and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.
For we are what He has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works
which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Let the peace of Christ
rule in your hearts since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another
with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed
do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God
that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed – a righteousness that is by faith
from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’
When I am afraid
I put my trust in You.
In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must
believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
