Old Javanese was used from around 700 to 1500 AD and is one of the earliest recorded languages from Indonesia. This course consists of Old Javanese vocabulary taken from Willem van der Molen's "Introduction to Old Javanese" and P. J. Zoetmulder's Old Javanese-English Dictionary, both of which are online. There is no complicated script to learn; the course is entirely in the Roman alphabet.
When entering the words: ṅ = ng; ñ = ny. For other letters, just take off the accents. Have fun!
