Romanian demonstrative pronouns, with Spanish as the base language.
The two different forms, adjective + noun (eg. acest băiat) and articulated noun + adjective (eg. băiatul acesta) are translated in an unforgivingly literal manner (este chico, el chico este).
Colloquial forms (eg. băiatul ăsta) are also tested, marked by (coloq.) in the Spanish translation. Either form is accepted when not explicitly marked.
Note the gender in Spanish does not always coincide with that in Romanian.
