Tamazight (formally Tamaziɣt) is language spoken by the Berber people living in North African countries of Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Northern Mali,and Niger, and by small communities in Northern Nigeria and Burkina Faso. The Berber language presented in this course is based off the Kabyle dialect of north-eastern Algeria. This Dialect is spoken by approximately 5 million people in Algeria and France.
