Italian
If there’s one language you should know how to say “I love you” in, it’s the language of love itself! And luckily, it’s super simple to remember and say. It’s just two short words: “ti amo”. But there are absolutely no judgements here if you end up saying it to a quattro formaggi pizza. We’ve all been there. Right?
Chinese
The way of saying “I love you” in Chinese is “我爱你” (wǒ ài nǐ), but thanks to the language’s many similar words and tones, some quirky cultural gems have developed over the years. For example, saying the number 520 in Chinese sounds extremely similar to the phrase “I love you”. So much so, the country even honours May 20th as a second Valentine’s Day (the real one is August 4th).
Japanese
