I too would love to calmly read all those quotes. It seems that the ones I can read while the page is loading are always the same 4 or 5. The others I can't finish reading!

Adding a "Let's Go button would have the added effect that you wouldn't have the first word time out if you went to the toilet while the course was loading.

I dont know if its necessary, forcing ppl to click once more every time they review some set. Anyway, courses loads in about 2 secs so I cannot see any problem with this.

I don't have time to read the quotes and tips because my tester loads so quickly!! They sound quite interesting, and seem to have been said by great people (e.g. Wittgenstein, Mandela, to name two). Perhaps if you instead put them underneath the results after the tester (the bit at the end where it says 'You're doing great!' or something, along with the % accuracy and other stats). That way we'll actually be able to read it

It's funny that we have a problem with speed. :-D But the last idea is good. I'd spend some time reading quotes after a session. And if someone doesn't want to read it, skip it, anyway, almost everyone does it already, so nothing would change.

I am also trying to capture the quotes, but it jotting them down while memrise-ing isn't working so well. Can someone send me the list, too? Pretty please?

I suggest uploading the quotes somewhere. A temporary option could be a public (non-editable) google docs document (though I am sure there are much more graceful methods). If someone could send them to: aaronmyatt@gmail.com - I will gladly do it.

I agree Azimuth. A quick search has suggested that this quote ('The more I want to get something done, the less I call it work') was first written by American author Richard Bach in his novel 'Illusions : The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah' (1977). I can't find it associated with Aristotle anywhere!

may I also have the list of quotes? I love taking them to heart in addition to the Chinese characters I learn using the cite. Thank you.
