I want to create a mem, but all I can do is click the Get new mem button but it doesn't seem to do anything here. Perhaps they could make a "Create new mem" button always available? There's no remix option here either.

The option to create a new mem should definitely always be there, so this sounds like a bug. Which browser are you using? I will look into this at once,
