I went to Patrol today to see if there was anything I could help with, but it said I didn't have permission to work on anything. I know curators can't work on all topics, but last time I tried there were a few things I could work on.

I am really sorry about this - were you patrolling in Mandarin? You should have permission to do any patrols there. I will check it out for you - there are definitely still some glitches in the patrol function, I'm really sorry about that.
