I am working on a usability test for Memrise and need your help!

Hi

Like the title says I am working on a school project that requires me to investigate the usability of a website. I chose Memrise to do this.

For this investigation I need some general figures of what the user experience is like.

Therefor I would like to ask all Memrise users to fill in this short survey (10 questions) so that I can paint an accurate picture of the average user experience.

Here is the link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6TBG27S

I hope you take the time to help a fellow Memrise enthousiast in his endeavour.

Thank you for all who have participated!!

  • Thanks for those who have filled it in up until now, I appreciate it.

    Others can still jump in!

  • for your last question - you should make sure that the user understands the scale - e.g scale of 1-5 where 5 is outstanding and 1 is abysmal.

  • I have answered your survey, but after the last question I clicked on the green button (with a word I didn't recognise but I thought would mean the same as "submit") and then a page appeared in a strange language (for me) and I closed that page, leaving me uncertain to whether my answers were received or not. Sorry!

  • I want to second both of the previous to comments! It is not clear whether you intend for 1 to be bad and 5 to be good or vice versa on the last question. I filled in my answers using the system that 5 is amazing and 1 is terrible. Also, The same thing happened to me when I clicked submit (or whatever the Dutch word was). It loaded a new page all in Dutch, which I think was asking me to register with Survey.monkey. I don't know if my answers were sent to you, since I couldn't register (the for was all in Dutch and Google's built in translator failed). Sorry if you didn't get them!

  • @patko, this sounds like a great project! I would love to chat to you about what you find out; I suspect people answer a bit differently when they fill in questions sent to the by people other than the company itself, so I would love to hear about it! Please send me an email, ben@memrise.com, Thanks!

    Ben
