really depressed right now
(1) did my watering session and the color coding that usually prompts me whether to type pinyin or english is gone. the whole session is now purple.
(2) went to add some confusables like i always do (i'm a curator for this purpose i thought?) and the add buttons are gone for me. low self esteem :~~~~(
(3) we made such a cool suggestion for improving the "type the right answer because you almost got it" feature that I think nobody likes, and it seems to have been ignored so far. waaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Posted by broknrising 5/25/12 (1 year ago)apologies for this. 1 - this has now been reverted. 2 - this will be fixed very soon 3 - we have definitely not ignored this, it is indeed a very cool suggestion, and we are just working out how, whether and when that could be fitted in. I will let you know.

Also, when making a suggested edit (e.g. to the main meaning of a word, there's no way to explain one's reasoning to a curator etc. Starting a separate comment in the 'discussions' tab seems like a disjointed way to do it, but that's the only way right now - I think.
Posted by Azimuth 6/15/12 (1 year ago)You can actually explain your reason - next time you suggest an edit - look at the pop up window - you should see two links. One is return to session (I think) and the other one should send you to the screen where you can post you reasoning.

If you want to edit either the word or the primary meaning of an item that has already been checked by another moderator, then that needs to be checked by someone ese - the thinking is that those are really important changes, and there needs to be an extra check. For all other changes, your edits should be implemented immediately. I am really really sorry that that isn't happening. If you keep leaving comments, I will keep checking through and accepting your edits as fast as I can until we get the software sorted.
