How do I become a curator/part owner?

I'm interested in the Integrated Chinese textbook series and I'm just starting on the above list. Even a quick glance reveals a few problems, but rather than deal with them individually, I would like to fix them all myself. What would I need to do to make this happen? Is there a FAQ that explains this?
Shoot Ben an email. As far as I know Curator status is basically on a volunteer basis. You ask, they give you a quick look-over and say "sure, we'll make it happen". :P
Although Ben will probably chance upon this thread.
