http://www.memrise.com/cave/?iset=spanish-comprehensive&plant_filter=wilting<emplatename=random_old This word is better translated as Hill. See http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=Hill Compare Mount. http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=Mount Also I added the article "e".This, unfortunately has an impact on the previous mems. Let me know what you think and if you agree.
So what this says is that in the word list for Spanish comprehension, "Cerro" was translated as "Mount", but in the dictionaries I looked it up in, "Hill" was a better translation and I also asked some native speakers. I edited "Cerro" to "Hill", but this now affects the mems created for "Mount". Let me know if this is OK with you. Also, I added the article "el". Thank you.

Posted by sanlee 5/13/12 (1 year ago)I could not edit this word. Please advise. Thank you.
Posted by sanlee 5/13/12 (1 year ago)You're right it's a mistake, and worse! It's a duplicate: http://www.memrise.com/item/252268/el-cerro-hill/
I don't know how to merge entries and the video I found for it was with the old interface and I couldn't figure out how to do it with the new one. It's probably something really obvious that I'm not seeing.
Posted by RabbitWho 5/13/12 (1 year ago)At least the second one is correct. Maybe change the one I have to El Monte = Mount(mountain)I don't know...
Posted by sanlee 5/13/12 (1 year ago)Good idea, I changed it to el monte.. only problem being that now all the mems are wrong :(
There are some sets I can't edit and others I can. This one I could edit okay. I guess it depends on the category, maybe some are in a different "Spanish" than others.
Posted by RabbitWho 5/13/12 (1 year ago)I think this makes sense. Thanks, Rabbit.
