I have created that topic - because of the international classification list we use for the names of languages, it is under "creoles and pidgins, English based". Hope that is ok, let me know if I can do anything else to help,
I can appreciate you sticking to a unified form... But I have concern that under such an obscure and non-direct header title that the topic might receive little to no attention. (Since while literally correct, nobody who has the intent to learn or contribute to jamaican will think to look under creole, much less one of two creole pages). The more likely scenario is somebody looking on the main course pages for "jamaican" not even knowing the patois part and on failing to find it, giving up. I feel if a topic is to be created it should have the best chance to prosper.

Just my two cents on the matter.
