Yes! you can add audio one-by-one if you are a curator of a topic, or if you want to add lots of words at once then you can do so by following these instructions: http://www.memrise.com/faq/audio-uploading/
I'm not a curator, maybe i should finally decide to become one instead of always leaving messages for everyone else. Right now i'd like to fill in some Russian words without audio, i don't know that my Russian would be good enough to be a curator, though.
well if you have a russian native speaker who would be willing to record the audio, then doing the batch recording would be the best way to do it. And let me know if you would like to be a curator - you don't have to be an expert, but as long as you make note of the changes that you make, then others can keep track of what is being changed. Or you can just keep leaving comments, which is also hugely appreciated!
