donde esta la biblioteca?

This is the only sentence of Spanish I know. I watched the episode once and I still remember it perfectly.

Memrise should have a rapping function.....

  • Actually it should be, "donde es la biblioteca?" since it's there to stay. Esta is used for moods or states that are temporary ;0)

  • I was specifically referring to a mobile library.....

  • Don't you think "estar" is first used to indicate a location, before describing moods and states ? i was surfing on forums when i read your comments; as i learnt the use of "estar" as the way to designate something in the space, i would be really surprised to discover that.

  • but it's possible as i learnt spanish at school in France, and ce n'est pas une sinécure, ou plutot si ! pour les profs nullards qu'on a dû se carrer pendant nos études

  • Motion to withdraw :0) Searching Internet I found: Estar is used for location of things and people (but not events) So Mango was right.

  • hace veinte anos los profesores de lengua utilizaban métodos arcaicas y proscribian el uso de las listas de vocabulario ; era una epoca muy ideologica con muchos tontos Afortunadamente, despues fue Memrise !
