Hi fellow learners, and thank you to those making this possible. I speak a bit of basic Bulgarian, but often stuggle to remember new words when I actually need them. Memrise is definitely making it easier to recall the vocab, although a bit of a warning - it might be addictive!I've found trying to make up mnemomics really helps - give it a go even if they seem cringe-worthy. I'll often edit them as sometimes first attempts don't quite work to trigger a memory. I like to have Bulgarian T.V. or talk radio on in the background, it seems to help me with pronounciations and it's great when I hear words I'm learning. It will be fantastic when there is audio for the Bulgarian vocab.
Is there any way to delete words which I don't want to learn. For example some of the tools have terrible names and there is no way I will ever need to know them. Also is there any sign of audio coming?
If you want to ignore a word (effectively deleting it from your word list), then:
When the word comes up on a test, move the cursor to the top of the page where it says Bulgarian and you should get the option to edit item or ignore item. Click ignore and you won't see it again.
Beware - there is currently no way to un-ignore words.
