Uploading pictures

Hello, please could you make a better way to upload pictures? I don't understand how to create a sheet with pictures pasted in it correctly and now there is no button for me to locate the file when uploading each single one. It would be best if you could allow one to select more files at once, then upload them and after that fill in the answer etc.

If you fix this, i promise to do as much Art History courses as possible.

  • If the picture file is available online, just put " before the url in your spreadsheet in the column "picture". That works quite smoothly.

  • What Annajenta was trying to say that you should put "img" followed by a colon in front of the url. That is also the reason that the tag img + colon is not shown in her post.

Since memrise probably doesn't like external pictures, a much better idea is to upload the pictures on the memrise server with the "upload button" in a "start a new discussion" dialogue (in a forum of your choice) and copy and paste the resulting link.

Memrise also seems to be working on a much better way to upload pictures. Remember to use only "free-to-use" pictures or memrise may have to delete your pictures in order to avoid legal issues (of after they paid high fines...). There is supposed to be a way to add licence information (CC etc) with the new upload feature.
