I think that I must have been getting confused by the fact that when neutral tones are pronounced on their own, as they are for the purposes of the audio recordings here, they sound like 1st tones. This is a bit misleading as neutral tones never, in fact, occur in isolation. Good spot, thanks!
The listed pronunciation for this is 5, but your pronunciation mem says its level 1. Which one is correct?
