Audio for Conversational German

People have been asking me audio for my Conversational German course. Considering that it is CONVERSATIONAL German, audio is pretty important. Can anyone help me out? It would be nice if they were read in an animated, conversational way (like you would use them in real life).

  • I will read up on recording audio tomorrow. Any idea how long 100 words take?

  • Humans speak at a rate of about 100 words per minute, and when you consider the necessary pauses between phrases, and the fact most of the phrases have 3-6 words... Probably less then 10 minutes?

  • I recorded ~ 120 right now, and will send to ben to ask for feedback, there is a bit of noise in the recording

  • quick update. Ben liked my enthusiasm, but confirmed that my audio recording sucked. So I'll get back my Sennheiser headset that was on permanent loan to someone and try with that

  • The microphone on my other laptop is a lot better. I recorded all 322 words, uploading them to dropbox right now. Ball is in Ben's court now :)
