Problem with article consistency

In the more advanced courses, some words are provided with the indefinite article, rather than the definite. Which is fine, but when the words are tested, the definite article, though correct, is not accepted as the correct answer. It's almost impossible to remember this distinction for words, so the words keep showing us as incorrect.
The word "un prodige" is a case in point - and the consistency of article provision is in general a little uneven.

  • When you find words like this, you can go onto the wiki page for that word and edit the article to the appropriate le/la, and add the indefinite version as an alternative.

  • Also frustrated with this. When I go back to try an alternative, I don't have the rights. It would be great if the curators could treat the problem ! Thanks

  • The trouble for curators is knowing which words need changing. It would be great if the site allowed anyone to suggest alternatives, and then the curators can confirm them, in the same way that anyone can suggest edits to a word.
