The Chinese government is sometimes portrayed in the west as a having a single, immutable will; the truth is more complex. This course will give you an introduction to the men at the top of the tree, their background, how they rose to the top and the sorts of policy they each favour. We have posted some basic information about each man - please do add more if you know it, and add in references where you can so that people can judge the accuracy and vote with their thumbs up (or down!)
