"flask stale" here you can think of "Flask" as taking its secondary meaning of "Bean". "Bean Stale" is not a very appetizing description of TOFU, but it is close to true - you make TOFU by boiling and blending soy beans to make soy milk, then putting it in a mold and letting it set. It doesn't quite go STALE, but it isn't exactly fresh either. by benwhately
