Greg is Memrise's resident authority on the human brain. He studied neuroscience at Oxford, Harvard and Princeton, where he spent his PhD using brain -scanners to observe memory at work.

Greg helps you learn better by making sure Memrise uses all the best science to feed, nourish, strengthen and stimulate your memories in the neatest and most efficient manner possible.

Spencer's residency is in Memrise's code-wizard department. While still at school, he was a grand prize winner in Google's international coding-competition, and he's since been making quite sure that college isn't going to get in the way of his extraordinary self-education.

Spencer helps you learn faster by, well, building Memrise. He ensures our databases positively hum with Mozartian harmony.

Long ago, Ben taught himself Mandarin slowly and painfully while living in an obscure province in China. He joined Memrise to build our content for Mandarin learners, and is devoted to making your learning experience everything he wishes his had been.

In past lives, he's been a travel writer, financier and run an online shirt tailor and a motorcycle restoration factory. Now he's in charge of shepherding and show-casing the work of our ever-growing community of learners, volunteers, artists and writers.

Mathias is a modern times artisan, a Interaction design and computer science hybrid. He enjoys communicating through prototypes and believes that those creates the insights needed to create great products. His work has brought him across the world, from Tokyo to London. Kevin Rooney is Memrise's designer (and photographer) in residence. He's responsible for the look and bounce of Memrise. He hails from County Sligo, Ireland. A little known fact about him is he used to represent Ireland at basketball.
